Peter McIntyre - Partner
Peter has a wide ranging background in business having worked as a professional Chartered Accountant over the past 30 years, servicing a wide range of clients with numerous industry backgrounds.
Peter has been involved in the financial planning industry since 1994 formerly as an authorised representative of Lonsdale Limited, a licensed dealer in securities.
Peter joined the Oakwood dealer group as an authorised representative in April 2000.
Peter has a strong interest in helping people with their financial wellbeing both as a Chartered Accountant and also as a Financial Planner.
Peter’s emphasis is on building a professional and lasting relationship with clients, with the objective of assisting them to achieve their financial goals.
Amanda Nielsen - Partner
Amanda joined Macquarie Partners in February 2003 after very successful stints as a Partner of a prominent Perth Accountancy practice and as an internal Chartered Accountant with a major Western Australian Resort complex.
The then partners of Macquarie Partners soon recognised her outstanding work ethic and Accountancy and Taxation expertise and she was offered a full partnership in the business in 2005.
Amanda oversees product delivery and quality for the practice and acts as an advisor in developing pre-emptive creative solutions. In additions she manages a portfolio of her own clients.
Amanda is a passionate and enthusiastic professional who enjoys creating lasting relationships with clients.
Accounting Staff
Donna White - Accountant
I started working for Peter in 1999 after the birth of my first child, working on a part time basis. I am happily married and have 2 beautiful boys who keep me busy.
I completed my Bachelor of Commerce at Newcastle University and gained my CPA status in 1997. My role at Macquarie Partners is as an accountant as well as Training Officer.
I am born and breed on the coast and will probably never leave. I am a bit of a sports fanatic and recently completed my first marathon. I have also played representative basketball and touch footy.
Sally Glasson - Accountant
I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commence) in 1995.
I have been part of Macquarie Partners since 2002. Prior to my position at MPCC I worked at a public practice in Dubbo for 4 years.
Since the birth of my first son in January 2006 I have been able to work remotely from home on a part time basis. I now have a baby daughter as well and am still able to work from home and really enjoy the work that I do.
I am a country girl, born and breed but moved to the coast and married at the coast.
My interests are polocrosse, watersking and family.
Robert O'Neill - Accountant
I started working in the accounting industry as a trainee in 2002 with another local firm. I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Management in 2006, and joined Macquarie Partners in early 2009.
I completed the Chartered Accountants programme in early 2010, and became a member at this time.
I have lived and worked on the central coast my whole life, and attended school locally.
My interests outside of work include golf, snooker, the beach and watching the footy.
Adrienne Griffiths - Accountant
I commenced working for Macquarie Partners in Jan 2007 after taking a 6 year break from a commercial accounting background in England to have a family.
I have attained a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from Manchester University and an Association of Accounting Technician Stage IV Certificate.
After living in Switzerland for 5 years with my husband Mark and our 2 gorgeous children, Brooke and Cameron, we moved to Australia in 2005.
Being fortunate enough to work part-time at Macquarie Partners I still have time to ferry the kids from one after-school activity to the next, as well as playing a bit of golf or tennis when I can.
Stephen Bisgrove - Accountant
My career has been varied started as a Accounting trainee and then working in the commercial area as an accountant for 12 years. I re-entered the Public Practice environment In the last 7 years which gave me a very good appreciation of both sides of accounting in business. I have developed extensive cost control methods from time in the building industry to considerable experience dealing with Financiers and securing high volume loans. Having been a part of the Central Coast for most of my life I am pleased to be working for Macquarie Partners and the very broad range of clients.
Kristy Isherwood - Accountant
I joined Macquarie partners in October 2011. Having commenced my accounting career as a trainee in 2003 with another central coast firm, I then went on to both Sydney and Newcastle chartered accounting firms to gain further exposure, whilst undertaking a degree part time via correspondence through University of South Australia
Having been born and bred on the central coast, I Returned to continue my career here.
Outside of work I enjoy enjoys spending time with my family & friends and love my hobbies including basketball, photography, 4x4 driving and going to the beach.
Rhys Evans - Accountant & IT Consultant
From early on in my life I was very interested in the business and financial sector, selling on ebay when I was just fifteen and getting my own ABN as a sole trader in computer services as soon as I turned eighteen.
After doing work experience with Grant Thornton in Sydney and also right here at Macquarie Partners I decided an accounting degree would expose me to many opportunities and greatly improve my own business skills, so after completing my HSC in 2007 I commenced a degree in Bachelor of Commerce at Newcastle University.
I joined Macquarie Partners on a part time basis as an accountant in 2008 and since 2009 have changed to full time, doing uni part time.
I have recently been at the forefront of helping clients with their IT needs as well as implementing the new accounting package called xero, which i have been certified in.
Outside of work i enjoy playing the violin and skiing as well as coastal activities such as surfing, enjoying the outdoors and helping with youth ministry at my local church.
Administration Staff
Terri Golding - Administration Manager
I joined the practice in 2002 and have enjoyed my role in administration. I have been in administration most of my career. I started my career with Repco for 9 years and then worked with Ernst & Young for a number of years as Event Co-ordinator which was very interesting.
I have one son who keeps me very busy with all his sports as he has reached State level in swimming.
Christine Daniels - Financial Planning Assistant
I started my employment with Macquarie Partners in May 2004 in the role of Receptionist. I stayed in that role untill October 2007 when I took a back seat and worked on a casual basis for 6 months due to personal reasons.
I am currently working in the Financial Planning department in an administration support role for Peter on a part time basis.
I have been married for 22 years and have 2 daughters, who are now 21 and 18.
I have been living on the Central Coast for 16 years, and do very much enjoy working for Macquarie Partners.
Kerri Carroll - Reception
I joined Macquarie Partners in August 2009 in the role of Receptionist and I enjoy it very much. I have always worked in Administration and Marketing roles during my career, most of which have been in the Sydney area.
I am married and have two children, Adam is 20 years and Sarah is 17 years and we have lived on the coast for nearly 20 years.
